On this occasion, the organization board offered 120 bicycles, 5 insurance contracts worth VND 20million each funded by AIA Vietnam Insurance Company and many gifts to disadvantaged children in Quang Ngai, totaling VND 320million.
Mrs. Le Tuyet Mai, deputy director of the fund said this year’s program aims to help disadvantaged children overcome difficulties in their life wishing them to become useful citizens in the society.
At present, the country has 26 million children with difficult backgrounds and the fund targets to help them have better life, added Mrs. Mai.
This year’s program is expected to launch nationwide offering about 3,000 bicycles and over 100 insurance contracts to children.
